Colin James first exploded onto the music scene in 1988 as a young guitar-slinger from Regina with a sound reminiscent of the great blues masters but at the same time uniquely his own. James has sold over eight million albums worldwide, has won six Juno Awards and has performed with numerous musicians including mentor Stevie Ray Vaughn and Keith Richards. His first “jump blues” album, Colin James & The Little Big Band (1993) was certified double platinum in Canada. His most recent album, Colin James & The Little Big Band III was released in 2006. James will be bringing his rock & blues to the stage of the Boulevard Casino’s Red Robinson Show Theatre in Coquitlam this New Year’s Eve.
